About Leri
Haia, I’m Leri - teacher, wife and most important of all mum (to a very active three year old toddler)! I love going for walks, taking photos, painting and of course yoga.

I have a passion for infant and child development as well as supporting parents and caregivers to carve out time for their own wellbeing.

After my own experience of postnatal depression it has been a drive to create an inclusive community where support is accessible to all.

I graduated from Bangor University with a BA Hons in History, and later my PGCE in Education. I have 13 years of experience working with children as a teaching assistant and then a qualified teacher.

Whilst teaching in the classroom I came to realise that there was a need for a holistic approach to education. I then trained to bring yoga and mindfulness to the children and the impact of these practices on their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing was phenomenal.

Maternity leave under lockdown was certainly different. Instead of attending local baby groups and forming lifelong friendships with other first time mums - all the baby groups and events were online.

This is how I found the magic of baby yoga and baby massage through attending a virtual class. Whilst I massaged my little one and moved through the yoga sequences all the anxieties as a new mum melted away. I was able to be in the moment with my little one and found moments of calm and pure joy as we bonded. He slept for 3 hours straight after his first baby massage session! I felt so inspired by this experience that I decided to train to teach baby yoga and baby massage.

One of the reasons I created Iogis Bach back in 2021 was to make sure that every single one of us has access and the opportunity to create connections in a welcoming community of like minded parents whilst also slowing down and prioritising our mental and physical wellbeing.

There’s always someone out there in a similar situation, but without that space to come together and connect, how is it possible to find your people and get those “really?! Me too” moments?

I love supporting mamas to be, parents and their little ones by teaching them skills to slow down, relax and notice those little moments that make us feel good.

All of my classes and courses place equal emphasis on you as the parent as well as your baby. We practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques to help you reset and unwind mentally, physically and spiritually.
